Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (RQF)

The TQUK Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (RQF) is regulated by Ofqual and Qualification Wales. Development of
the qualification was supported by Proskills.
Qualification Purpose
This Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (RQF) is designed to raise awareness of health and safety and is
applicable to anyone in a work environment. It is essential that employees are aware of their own safety and the safety of customers,
contractors and the public who might be affected by their work. The qualification covers legislation, basic health and safety, hazards
and risks and raises awareness of control methods. The objectives of the qualification include meeting relevant programmes of
learning, supporting a role in the workplace and giving learners personal growth and engagement in learning.
Entry Requirements
There are no specific entry requirements however learners should have a minimum of Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy or equivalent.
The recommended minimum age for this qualification is 16 years and above.
