The Level 2 award in Moving People Safely is designed to provide learners with the opportunity to develop skills, knowledge and understanding to enable them to apply safe Manual handling principles. This qualification is intended for individuals wanting to undertake training or to further develop their knowledge and skills in the subject area.
The learning objectives of this qualification include:
- Preparing students to progress to a qualification in the same subject area but of a higher level or requiring specific knowledge, skills and understanding.
- Preparing students to progress to a qualification in another subject area,
- giving learners personal growth and engagement in learning.

Entry Requirements:
- There are no specific entry requirements however learners must be in a job role appropriate to the chosen units
- A minimum Level 2 Numeracy or Equivalent beneficial
- Candidates must be a minimum of 16 Years old
- IT literate (Internet, Microsoft office)
- Able to understand and interpret course materials
- Self-motivated and willing to complete and achieve
