Entry Requirements:
- There are no specific entry requirements however learners must be in a job role appropriate to the chosen units
- A minimum Level 1 Numeracy or Equivalent beneficial
- Candidates must be a minimum of 16 Years old
- IT literate (Internet, Microsoft office)
- Able to understand and interpret course materials
- Self-motivated and willing to complete and achieve
Progression:
Successful learners can progress to other qualifications such as:
TQUK Level 2 Diploma in Care (RQF)
TQUK Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (RQF)
Structure:
Learners must achieve a minimum of 14 Credits: 10 from the mandatory Units and at least 4 credits from the optional units.

Cleaning, Decontamination and Waste Management Level 2 Credits
Contribute to health and safety in health and social care Level 4 Credits
Dementia Awareness Level 2 2 Credits
Introductory awareness of sensory loss Level 2 2 Credits
Move and position individuals in accordance with their care plan Level 2 4 Credits

Guided Learning Hours:
This Qualification requires hours of self study with a 140 hours guided learning. These hours are made up of all contact time, guidance or supervision of a learner by trainer or tutor. Learners are expected to study and complete aspects of their assessment portfolio in their own time.
