Entry Requirements:

• There are no specific entry requirements however learners must be in a job role appropriate to the chosen units
• A minimum Level 2 Numeracy or Equivalent beneficial
• Candidates must be a minimum of 19 Years old
• Suitable for Learners on Foundation Learning Programmes
• IT literate (Internet, Microsoft office)
• Able to understand and interpret course materials
• Self-motivated and willing to complete and achieve

Structure:

Mandatory Units

Learners must achieve 6 credits from the mandatory units:

Awareness of the skills and attitudes required for adult social care work Level 1 1 Credit

Introduction to Adult Social Care Level 1 1 Credit

Introduction to the values and principles of Adult Social Care Level 1 1 Credit

Guided Learning Hours:

This Qualification requires 53 hours of self study with a 4 hour guided learning. Learners are expected to study and complete aspects of their assessment portfolio in their own time.
