Entry Requirements:
- There are no specific entry Requirements but a minimum Level 1 Numeracy or Equivalent
- Candidates must be a minimum of 16 Years old
- This Course s suitable for parents and volunteers in participating in Early Years Provision
- Suitable for Learners on Foundation Learning Programes
- IT literate (Internet, Microsoft office)
- Able to understand and interpret course materials
- Self-motivated and willing to complete and achieve
- It is not Necessary that learners have access to be working, however it is recommended you have access to a volunteering role
Mandatory Units:
- Management and Organisation of Early Years environments Level 1 2 Credits
- Principles of play for babies and young Children Lel 1 3 Credits
- Option Modules
- Principles of Community development in early years settings 1 Credit
- Roles and responsibilities in early years settings 1 Credit
***You need to achieve Six Credits and 5 from the Mandatory Units to complete the course

Progression:
On successful completion, Students can progress to other qualifications offered such as
- Level 2 Certificate for the Chidren and Young Peoples Workforce
- Level 2 Certificate in Introducing Caring for Children and Young People
